DR. CHRISTOPHER TALLMAN

Dr. Tallman is a board-eligible urologist who practices general urology with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical management of benign and malignant prostate disease as well as minimally invasive kidney surgery.

He earned his Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences in Miami, Florida. Dr. Tallman attended Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies where he received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. He subsequently completed his surgical internship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. After his internship, Dr. Tallman then went on to complete a clinical research fellowship in minimally invasive robotic urology with world-renowned urologist and innovative pioneer in robotic surgery, Dr. Mani Menon at the Vattikuti Urology Institute Department of Urology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Tallman completed his residency at the prestigious Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, and studied robotic surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Brian Miles. Dr. Tallman’s experience in robotic surgery is heavily influenced by Dr. Miles and centers around providing excellent surgical technique, safety, and functional outcomes. He is actively involved in studying the outcomes of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer and offers this to eligible men with prostate cancer.

Dr. Tallman has a particular interest in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and works with the current technologies and techniques for treating men with enlarged prostates and voiding difficulty including Rezum, Greenlight Laser Therapy and the Aquablation robotic platform.
