Dr. Ira Raff

I am a general urologist with a rich career history spanning over 38 years. My solo practice, established in Connecticut, was a significant part of my journey before I moved to Florida in 2007. My medical training unfolded in New York City, where I attended New York Medical College and completed urology training at Sloan Kettering. Additionally, I served as a Urologist in the United States Air Force for two years. Originally from Flushing, New York, I pursued my high school education in Tarry Town at Hackley School, followed by undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont.

My path then led me back to New York, where I completed a rotating internship and a surgical residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. Beyond my medical career, I have a deep interest in history, culminating in a Master of Arts from Western Connecticut College. There, I wrote a thesis focusing on the Revolution. I have also dedicated time to volunteering at Caridad, a facility offering care to those without insurance.
